Who we're looking for

At Digital Butter we build best in class websites, e-commerce stores, and apps, and we help drive traffic to those platforms with a range of paid and organic digital marketing strategies.

We have a diverse client base across industry, which means the strategic and tactical challenges are constantly changing.

We help our clients by conceptualising and executing measurable marketing strategies that deliver business value. That could be crafting optimised landing pages, configuring targeted Google Ads, mapping out re-marketing cookie placement, or dreaming up entire strategic campaigns from scratch. We’re a small team with sharp skills across digital strategy, design and engineering. On the horizon for our agency is the expansion of our performance marketing focus.

What you will be doing in this role:

You will be brought up to speed on Digital Butter’s client base and core competencies across our service offering, working directly with the Managing Partner, and your strategy, creative and technical colleagues. You will conduct a review of the agency’s current marketing channels, and you will start to plan and rollout changes to target measurable increases in lead generation for the agency.
Having completed on-boarding, you will now work closely with the agency's Managing Partner and Digital Strategist to review and optimise how the agency’s performance marketing capabilities are to be presented in client pitch situations. You will start supporting the agency’s business development function as the agency marketing lead - meeting existing and new prospect clients - and conducting research, and presenting campaign ideas.
You are now well established within the agency, and lead Butter’s own marketing initiatives. You are now running various paid and organic campaigns for paying agency clients (SEM, SEO, display, social, etc - with creative and technical support from your colleagues), conducting ongoing optimisations, and providing client reporting directly. You continue to proactively seek out new opportunities to drive growth of our client performance marketing offering, working closely with account servicing and business development team mates.

The skills and experience that you ideally possess:

We’re looking for a precocious digital marketer with entrepreneurial flair to join our talented digital agency team. This person should be keen to dive in deep on any and all initiatives that help drive the agency forward, and to pitch and execute ideas that help deliver results to our clients. Ideal candidates will probably have around 3-5 years experience.

What we offer:

Monthly base salary to be determined by prior experience, with ongoing bonuses tied to acquisition and retention of agency clients.
18 days annual leave per year.
Health insurance will be provided after completion of probation.
