Energizer - Technology Engineer – Auto Care

Accountabilities

• Develops strong technical knowledge of Auto Care product innovation, raw materials, packaging and manufacturing processes.
• Develops and maintains project plans to track timelines in designated projects.
• Proactively identifies resource conflicts and risks to facilitate project flow.
• Manages document flow, meeting organization, manufacturer site visits and related logistics.
• Facilitates communication to R&D colleagues that impact the product development timeline.
• Develops written action plans to accomplish assigned and agreed upon annual Business Objectives.• Collaborates with colleagues, as well as external networks and partners to leverage knowledge and meet assigned business objectives. Interfaces with Global R&D, Procurement, and Asia manufacturers to acquire information and services necessary to meet assigned objectives.
• Provides regular written documentation and oral presentations which both assess and record the progress of the work.
• Participates in the safety program via regular assignments and by providing JSHAs (Job Safety and Health Analysis) and colleague training.Required Skills and Experience
• Master or Degree in Engineering or Science, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience driving new product developments within R&D function

Working Relationships & Environment

• Reports to R&D Associate Manager
• Collaborates with colleagues, as well as external networks and partners to leverage knowledge and meet assigned business objectives.
• Key cross-functional relationships internally to include Regulatory, Procurement, Quality, and External Manufacturers

• Master or Degree in Engineering or Science, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience driving new product developments within R&D function
• Six Sigma Certification would be a plus• Experience with stage gate product development process
• Comfortable with travel domestically to China with some international (15-35%)
