Data Science is in the DNA of Aqumon. The focus on developing technology and algorithms is supported by a great team leader who cares about every detail and research project. A trial and error researching spirit gives workers the freedom to try new technology as a chance to learn and improve. Mistakes are not feared. This culture attracts very smart candidates who want to do new things. They’re positive and devoted to their work which is perceived as more than a job. Conceieved from humble beginnings

Aqumon was established in 2015 by an investment banker and an HKUST Engineering lecturer with a PhD. Just the two of them started out in HKUST’s library until the university offered them office space for six people. Their first investors were in 2016. Today, a mere four years later, the company has grown to 100 employees located within upmarket offices. As well, they have offices in Singapore and China. This rapid transformation underscores the founders’ internal strength to achieve their goal – vision alone isn’t enough. Now they’re determined to be number one in the field.

Our societal impact

Aqumon has already made a difference to both the financial industry and society. Along with its innovative A.I-based investment advisory platform, they’ve also made investing more accessible by lowering the investment threshold for investors. It’s not just for the rich. Their teams are energetic talents who are highly motivated to create meaningful jobs that impact society. The clock is never off. Their passion drives them to create some ‘magic’ together – all egos are set aside.
